On September 9th, HNNU held the teacher’s day celebration symposium for new teachers. University Leaders Mr. Chen Nianhong, Mr. Li Linqi, Yang Zhengqing, Zuo Xiaoyun, Chen Mingsheng and leaders from functionary departments attended the symposium with twenty new teachers. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Chen Mingsheng.

      At the meeting, HNNU President Li Linqi introduced the university progress over the past years and proposed earnest wishes for the new comers. He urged new teachers to learn modestly from the peers, set up examples for students, value teacher-student communication on an equal footing and care for students’ progress and wellbeing.

      Later, some new teachers, on behalf of the new staff, made remarks, shared thoughts and offered suggestions. At the end, HNNU Party Secretary Chen Nianhong concluded with his thoughts on the teacher’s role. He encouraged new teachers to work conscientiously with a sense of mission, set up the career plan and live up to the trust and expectation of the society.
