On September 3rd, HNNU Xinjiang Volunteer Teaching Corps Started its journey to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for educational aid to the ethnic minority region.
The volunteer corps, comprised of one hundred and four students and teachers, is the first of its kind in HNNU. The corps members were carefully selected from the over 600 candidates across the campus. To support the smooth operation in Xinjiang, HNNU set up Communist Youth League(CYL) Branch and Communist Party of China(CPC)branch respectively.
In the see-off assembly, the corps members aired their ambitions and promised HNNU dedicated and responsible work in Xinjiang.
